Level 10

Description

Students begin work with concepts such as squares, cubes, square roots, cube roots, complex expressions and substitutions of variables in algebraic equations. In addition, students become more familiar with algebraic equations and with substituting values and evaluating the expressions.

Level 10.1

Squares, cubes, square roots and cube roots of negative and positive numbers.

Students continue to develop algebra skills.

Level 10.2

Expressions with negative numbers, fractions and substitutions of numbers in equations.

Students become more familiar with algebraic equations and with substituting values and evaluating the expressions. This will help them become more comfortable with equations involving fractions and negative numbers.

Level 10.3

Review from current and previous levels.

Continues to strengthen and reinforce the foundation of concepts learned in previous sections.

Level 10.4

Advanced fraction arithmetic with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including work with integers.

Students will use skills learned in the previous levels to master fraction arithmetic while developing their speed and accuracy.
